As Spooky SZN 2019 rolls on we investigate the whos, whats, wheres, whys and hows of fear.
We discuss its role in shaping humanity, how it can be weaponized, politicized and used for entertainment.
Because we are a pop culture and entertainment show, we also do a quick dive into what historically made us afraid and what that meant for movies during the 20th and 21st centuries.

Minisode: Spooky Recommendations

Hey gang!
We have a full episode on Fear coming next week but in the meantime here's a short one full of some under-the-radar movies that you should check out if you're into scaring yourself shitless.
There's also some tv recommendations of some specific episodes you should watch and the introduction of a new game that we're trying out for Spooky SZN 2019.

Cinema Dissection: Psycho 1960 & 1998

Spooky SZN is officially here! To celebrate the month of scary movies, goblins, ghouls and women dressed as "sexy" referees and "sexy" waste management workers, we are kicking off the month with an in depth look at one of best horror movies ever made: Psycho!
We'll also be talking about one of the strangest, soulless, confounding and unwanted horror movies ever made: Psycho!
The 1960 and 1998 versions are the exact same movie separated by an ocean of differences and we're not talking about the color saturation.
Join us as we take a trek to Fairvale CA and the Bates Motel to kick off Spooky SZN 2019.

It Chapter 2 Review

Two years after our initial trip to New England, Chemma and I return to Derry Maine to catch up with The Losers Club and check in on subterranean, child-eating clown/metaphysical being Pennywise.
Of course, things have not gotten much better since the late 1980s.
27 years after their showdown in the sewers, The Losers are still dealing with baggage, trauma and acute memory loss and Pennywise is back to his old bloody shenanigans. 
Does Chapter 2 live up to Chapter 1? Do The Losers find peace and love after childhood trauma? Did the producers find a way to speed up Jeremy Ray Taylor's aging process?

With that out of the way we discuss where NASA came from and where the Agency is going.

Sports and Entertainment Collide

This week's episode has us delving into how the world of sports influences and is influenced by the entertainment realms of music and movies.
We also take a look at any commonalities entertainers and athletes share, what makes a good sports movie, what music goes best with certain sports and we talk about some crossover stars, some of which will surprise you.
We also play a little switcheroo with our favorite bands and some local superstar athletes to see what a band full of athletes and a team full of musicians would look like.

2019 Summer Sports Update

We are back, baby!
After taking our own summer break to do some summer things, we bounce back with a look at the incredible amount of sports news that unfolded on our extended hiatus. 
The NBA was as dramatic as ever, Cleveland shined on the national stage, the NFL is revving up and the other sports did stuff too! We think.
