The last movie of our annual Movie May spectacular finds us back in some familiar territory: talking about Adam Sandler! And before you give us some shit, this totally counts as Movie May because that's when we recorded it! Boom!
This time we are talking good Sandler as Howard Ratner, a gambling addicted jewelry dealer in the Safdie Brothers 2019 crime thriller 'Uncut Gems.'
Sandler was good but what and who else stood out? Is it a stressful movie or are have we become accustomed to movies with no stress level?

It wouldn't be Movie May without talking about the Soundtrack songs that kept us jamming long after we leave the theater.  But where have all the good Soundtracks gone?  Did the 2000's derail the Soundtrack train? Those are the questions Adam hopes to answer on the latest episode of The Third Spin.

Movie May continues with an ass kicking, neck breaking, hammer smashing, blood soaked edition of Cinema Dissection. We took a deep dive into the 2011 and 2014 Indonesian martial arts crime epics The Raid and The Raid 2, directed by Gareth Evans, starring Iko Uwais and a horde of stuntmen who might actually be dead.
Is either movie a "perfect" movie? We crunched the numbers, dodged the bullets, threw a few elbows and avoided serious injury on this deadly, wild, movie journey to find out.  
 

Movie May is in full swing here as we hit our next film with the 1985 comedy classic Clue! Will an all-star cast of comedy legends and character actors be able to bring a board game to life? Spoiler alert: ABSOLUTELY!
