Tuesday Oct 27, 2020
Tuesday Oct 27, 2020
Our final full episode of this year's Spooky Season finds us covering the forgotten classic(!?) In The Mouth Of Madness from 1995. An homage to the horror stories of HP Lovecraft and a metamovie all in one, In The Mouth Of Madness feels like a movie well ahead of its time.
Take a deep dive with us as we discuss all of the wonderfully weird things we like, and some things we didn't like, from this odd but refreshing entry in John Carpenter's legendary filmography.

Spooky Season Movie Review: Christine
Tuesday Oct 13, 2020
Tuesday Oct 13, 2020
Time for our first review episode of our John Carpenter-centric Spooky Season as we dive headlong into the 1983 adaptation of Stephen King's Christine.
In an attempt to shake his status as the class nerd, Arnie Cunningham buys a junked 1958 Plymouth Fury much to the concern of his best buddy Dennis Guilder. As Arnie goes about restoring his new prized possession, named Christine, he changes dramatically and the line where Arnie ends and the haunted, killer car begins becomes more blurred by the day.
Does it hold up? Is this a cult classic? Something else? Is there anything we would have changed? Could this story still work now?
We answer those questions and a whole lot more, so buckle up for some fun!

Plus, did he discover which unused pieces of music from The Thing score made their way into The Hateful 8? Let's find out!
