Our last Straight to Series minisodes finds us tackling old tv shows. As stated in the episode, you could almost guarantee a few of these selections and honorable mentions will be remade, it's just a matter of when. Such is the nature of television.
So we explore how a future Mission: Impossible series would look and how you could adapt it for contemporary issues. 
And we take a look at two series that were mishandled, cut short, and have had fans clamoring for closure or a reboot ever since, Sliders and Jericho.
 

Up next for our Straight to Series minisodes, we tackle some old movies that could be made into tv shows. 
A mix of continuations (Escape From New York, The Last Starfighter) and adaptations (Groundhog Day) offer a unique look at how you can possibly advance a character into a new story, bring new characters into an old story, or simply introduce a clever idea into a new situation with new characters.
And again, if any of these become tv shows, you heard it hear first! 

We roll on with another minisode, this time tackling what video games would make for interesting tv adaptations.
With the success of The Last of Us, Halo, The Witcher and others, there is sure to be a deluge of shows in the near future based on video games. We're just beating everyone to the punch.
So if there is ever an adaptation of Titanfall, Dead Space, or What Remains of Edith Finch...you can thank The Occasionalists.

In this installment, I'll be providing an update to thoughts and news from previous episodes or put a cap on some topics I didn't dive into as fully as I could have. 
And then, I'm never talking about them EVER AGAIN. 
That's probably not true but I'll be putting these topics to the side after this episode: perfection in the gym, AI is not really but kind of coming for us, and Marvel needs to stop being so far up its own ass. 

Wednesday's episode brings back another oldie but a goodie, Recommendation Rewind. 
For this iteration, instead of giving you recs based on the previous episode, I dive into a pop culture behemoth, The Last Of Us, and give you some solid post-apocalyptic shows and movies to watch.
Then I get into Moorhead and Benson's latest, Something In The Dirt, and rip out a few cosmic horror, meta-movie, mindf*ck recommendations.

New month, old theme. In The March of Minisodes returns! It was a hit last year, so it's coming back for a second round.
The first of three episodes this week goes through the new MLB rules, the objective behind them, and why everyone needs to chill the f*ck out about a clock ruining baseball.
 

We wrap up February with the final, and definitely most dangerous interview in our Ask The Experts series. We bring on adventure enthusiast, and all-around badass, Kayla Wernimont to talk about partaking in daring hobbies and the mindset needed to enjoy such unique physical challenges.
We get into rock climbing, water skiing, wilderness rescues, ornery animals, lots of falling, and dogs in climbing costumes.
Plus, who would Kayla take along with her on a celebrities-only adventure? Tune in to find out!
 

We are rolling on with Ask The Experts and bringing in the official Occasionalists hockey correspondent, Rob Nugent!
We get in some NHL updates and then dive into Rob's experience playing youth and rec league hockey. We talk about what keeps him playing, what are the challenges of playing organized sports as an adult and much more.
We also put together a fictional hockey team that would undoubtedly steamroll to a Stanley Cup win.
Strap on those blades, polish off your best snipe celly, and try to handle the dirtiest dangles in all of podcasting.
